INVITE YOUR GUESTS TO POST REVIEWS
Invite your guests to post reviews in your post-stay emails. Or, if you already use post-stay email surveys, you can invite your guests to post a review as part of the survey and send us the reviews using our web service. Digital Alchemy and UniFocus are two of our partners providing survey integration with GuestBook. Some hotels even print invitations from our portal to provide to their guests.
Since guests do not have to register to post a review, they are more inclined to respond to your invitation to post a review.
GUESTBOOK VALIDATES THE GUESTS
We don't keep track of your guests, but each invitation has a login code and we know if a login code provided in each guest's invitation is valid. Also, if you use post-stay email surveys to invite guests, your survey system ensures that only guests can post reviews.
The invitation system ensures that all reviews are posted by actual guests at your hotel.
GUESTS CAN SHARE THEIR REVIEWS WITH THEIR FACEBOOK FRIENDS
Guests who post reviews can click a link to add their review to their Facebook page and share with their friends. Citysearch reports that 12% of their users share reviews and these reviews are viewed by an average of 40 friends.
HOW TO DISPLAY AND USE YOUR REVIEWS
Provide a link to your GuestBook webpage on your website, use our Facebook app to create a link on your Facebook page to your reviews, and even add a link in a Google Adwords campaign.
You can include the reviews on a page on your website using an iFrame - displaying the entire GuestBook page, or if you prefer, just the column of reviews.
